I continued a fabulous First Day of the year with a family ride along the bike path at Huntington Beach in a 6-person surrey with by Sunshine, Econ, Panda, and Cupcake. Huntington Beach stretches for miles along the Pacific Coast Highway lined with palm trees.
On Saturday afternoon I caught up with my sister and her adorable little family. We rented a surrey and enjoyed a marvelous warm sunny time in Fairmount Park, with its river and statues and ice cream truck. Especially the ice cream truck. We had a wildely delicious time!
Today the whole family participated in one of the most fun things we have ever done together--all six of us rode a surrey bike along the Chicago waterfront!
