Today I pushed south from the Legacy Parkway Trail onto the north end of of the Jordan River Trail. I rode south for 20ish miles and returned, making this my first 40-mile-ride!
The trail seems to continue for some distance, so it will be fun to keep exploring.
Islamic Mosque
This ride took me to the Redwood Trailhead Park in West Valley City, next to the Khadeeja Islamic Center, the mosque of the Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake. Named for the Prophet Muhammad’s first wife, it features a towering minaret and a striking gold dome. It was built in 1994 and expanded in 2002.
